Walkathon Recap

We are so thankful to everyone who participated in our First Annual Walkathon Fundraiser on Saturday, January 28th, 2023! We had a wonderful morning together in fellowship raising money for gospel proclamation work.

We had 192 donations totaling $21,500. Over 100 people arrived at Marina Park in Martinez to join in the family fun and breakfast. That brings us to $78,626 for our RV fund. We are now at 72% of our goal!

We heard an encouraging report that one of our walkers used the walkathon as an opportunity to share the gospel message while sharing the purpose and mission of Hope680 with others.  We know that many people were made aware of this ministry that had no prior knowledge of Hope680. Thank you for spreading the word. We couldn’t have done it without you and we hope you join in again next year! We are hoping, if possible, to have the walk in late Spring next year.

Huge thank you to Nation’s for providing breakfast and Evan Quigley for coordinating the site and setup.

Please enjoy the photo recap taken by Chad Cook and Edward Leung.

Please consider joining us on a ministry morning! We have several ways to serve the ministry!

Please follow the link above and consider serving in one of the following ways:

1) Prepare Lunches

2) Serving at the Homeless Camps

3) Volunteer Breakfast

4) Cookies for Volunteers

If you have the desire to be involved in our next phase of the ministry where we provide bible studies and counseling to the homeless please contact us! We would love to partner with you.

Hope680 will have a table set up in the lobby of NorthCreek Church for the NorthCreek ministry fair on Sunday, February 5th. Come by and say hello!
