March 13, 2021 Prayer Update

This last weekend we had out biggest team of volunteers yet, with a total of 15 of us split into two teams to share God’s love with the homeless in and around Concord and Martinez. We distributed over 80 lunches, hot coffee, clothes, blessing bags and bibles, shared the gospel and prayed with over 40 homeless individuals.

Our Concord team returned to our regular locations by In-n-out and the Highway 4 and 680 bridges, where they prayed with a significant number of folks and had some deep gospel conversations with friends both old and new while visiting with them under bridges and by their tents.

Our Martinez team returned to the large organized encampment at the Marina where we had the blessing of providing haircuts alongside our regular supplies. This give us ample opportunity for deeper and longer conversations with those waiting and during their trims!

We were able to have substantial conversations with several friends such as Judy. Richard (below) who claims to know Jesus, asked several of us to pray with and for Him:

Leaving this encampment we were able to pray and provide a bible to an older gentleman in the downtown area, who suffers from alcoholism and broken relationships with immediate family. Pray for God to give him a new relationship with Himself, and that he might be reconciled with his loved ones:

Please pray for the Lord to do a miraculous work bringing these folks to Himself and enabling them to overcome addictions. Please pray too for our ministry which God is growing.
